According to data from SSL shopper, 43% of website visitors leave the site after seeing a security alert message on their browser. Google’s July 2018 update on its proprietary chrome browser will now include non-SSL compliant websites in their “not secure” list.
It will undoubtedly force a lot of website owners/administrators to install SSL/TLS certificates to prevent losing traffic and ranking.
